This page will be a place where I can talk about upcoming events, and comment on past
things, and update you on what is going on with Proxy
8/15/08-  Hot August Nights was a trip!  We'd like to welcome Dale Nutting to the band.  He is a great
addition on drums.  He came in, and truly rocked the house both days.  You will see more of him.
Davey Jones looks great for his age, and he was a very complimentary gentleman.  The whole
weekend was filled with tremendous crowd support, to people calling out our songs during our
Grand Sierra performance, along with the standing O from the crowd.  It is always nice to talk to
people that see us there year after year.  It's always good to see Gary and his truck when we are on
the "street".  Special thanks to Dora Nutting for taking great care of the band.  You will see some of
her great pictures on the photo page!

With have Bones, The Folsom Hotel, and The Folsom Antique Peddlers Fair all coming up soon!
See You There

7/18-  Sorry for the late notice, but The Ravine is cancelled for this Sunday.  They double booked,
and we will reschedule.  So sorry for the confusion.    Kirk & Reba

7/1/08- The Folsom Hotel rocked!  It is very loud in there, so if you want to hear us in a quieter
environment, I would suggest Bones Roadhouse or The Ravine.  The Ravine is going to be a very
laid back atmosphere, where there will be music, but there will be great conversations as the week
end, ends.  It will also have great munchies, and who wants to cook on Sunday night.  It begins at
5:00, and it will be Reba and myself.  You will hear more of the softer side of Proxy.  How about
opening up for Davey Jones from The Monkees!  That will be a fun night at Hot August Nights.  We
look forward to seeing you this month at either Bones or The Ravine.

5/27/08-  Well......what a day!  Great news is we have two new venues (well 1 new and one an old
friend).  We are back at
The Folsom Hotel!  On Friday June 13th, we go back with our
local drummer Dale Nutting to rock the Hotel.  Lets have an old style reunion that night, and pack the
place.  On June 29th, we will start doing a Sunday evening casual thing at The Ravine.  The Ravine is
under new ownership and the place is  and it is an excellent choice for dinner.  Sunday evenings
from 5-8, and the atmosphere will be more casual, serving the bar menu, which includes items like a
KOBE beef hot dog, and Sweet Potato Fries.  It promises to be a great way to end the weekend.

4/28/08-  Thanks to all of you that supported us at the Peddlers Fair.  We sold a record number of
CD's.  This week at Purple Place (Saturday 9:30) we will be auditioning for Folsom Live.  We will have
Ron, our Sax player with us along with Dan.  If you have not seen Ron perform, he is one of the best
sax players on the west coast.  It should be a great night.  If you can make it out that night, we can
really use your support there.  Sunday we are on the capitol steps for the MS walkathon again this
year.
4/20/08
It's been a quiet first quarter, but things are starting to bloom, as we get ready to release our 5th CD
tomorrow at the Antique Peddlers Faire in Folsom.  It is called, "Summer of 69", and as you could
guess is a tribute to songs from around 1969.  It seems like only yesterday and we were doing our
first one.  It looks like Bones Roadhouse is going to be a regular gig for us, and we want to thank the
folks at Bones for making us feel so welcome.  Great thanks to Randy & Dino for introducing us
there.  Of course making those gigs really fun is the Fab Folsom group that comes.  It is not that far
up the road and it is a really comfortable place to visit.  We return to The Purple Place on May 3rd.
We really need a good crowd there, as we are judged by the number of people we bring.  We can
use all the support!  We are looking at a lot of options for the future so stay tuned to this page for
any breaking news.
